Our department, which has a wide academic diversity and a deep-rooted tradition of public administration, aims to train public administrators who are committed to the universal language of science and the basic principles of republic, human rights and democracy. In this context, it offers students a contemporary program that will enable them to succeed in both their academic and professional careers in the fields of political science, management science, urbanization, local governments, environmental problems, gender, migration, social policy and legal sciences. The dynamic and broad academic staff of the department enables us not only to understand the inner side of social and political events but also to develop new perspectives. In this way, our department makes its students cognitively equipped to comprehend the social and political events taking place in Turkey and the world, while caring that they become rational and effective citizens above all. 

The level of combining theory and practical knowledge that we provide our graduates in the field of politics and administration gives them the opportunity to pursue a career in many different fields in the public and private sectors. Graduates of the Department of Public Administration can work as managers in many fields such as government agencies, financial institutions, media, and academia.

Our program, which is based on public administration and political science courses, aims to graduate students who are inquisitive, creative and able to look at their environment with an analytical eye, as well as aiming for excellence in education. We aim to train our students as professional public administrators equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to specialize in their fields in the future.

Our department aims to train well-equipped public administrators who have the ability to comprehend social and political events in Turkey and the world, and who have developed analytical thinking skills. Above all, we aim to give our students the awareness of being a rational and useful citizen to the society.
